Consultation RIS: Swimming Pool Pumps
*Now extended to 20 January 2017*
The Department of the Environment and Energy seeks feedback from businesses and other stakeholders on a consultation Regulation Impact Statement (RIS) for swimming pool pumps. The RIS examines proposals to improve the energy efficiency of pool pumps sold in Australia.
Regulatory measures to reduce energy consumption are proposed for Australia only under the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Act 2012. New Zealand has decided not to participate in this RIS process.
We will be holding meetings to discuss the pool pump RIS on the following dates:
- Melbourne – 29 November 2016, 3:00 pm
- Adelaide – 1 December 2016, TBC
- Perth – 2 December 2016, TBC
- Sydney – 5 December 2016, 5:30 pm
- Brisbane – 7 December 2016, 5:30 pm.
If you would like to attend a meeting, please let us know by sending an email to email@example.com.
