External Power Supplies Stakeholder workshop- proposed MEPS

The Equipment Energy Efficiency Committee hosted a workshop for EPS industry stakeholders on the 24th October.

The purpose of the workshop was to assist in clarification of any issues for suppliers and manufacturers relating to the proposed Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for External Power Supplies.

Subject to the satisfactory fulfilment of the Council of Australian Governments' Regulatory Impact Statement requirements, it has been proposed that External Power Supplies will be regulated from 1 December 2008.
