Motor MEPS 2006: Industry Forum and Laboratory Visit

Workshop program and associated presentations

The National Appliance and Equipment Energy Efficiency Committee (NAEEEC) held a MEPS Motors Industry Forum and Laboratory Visit in Adelaide on 12 and 13 September 2005.

Thirty delegates travelled to the recently NATA approved motor testing facility CalTest in Port Eliot to attend a tour of the facility and a presentation by Andrew Baghurst on the current testing procedures for electric motors. Test laboratories have been hard to find with CMG being the bulwark until now.

The following day over 45 representatives of motor suppliers, testing laboratories, government officials and consultants gathered in Adelaide for a forum on MEPS II and related programs for electric motors. Presentations from the forum are available for downloading as PDF files. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view these files. If you are unable to access this document, please contact the Australian Greenhouse Office to organise a suitable alternative format.
