Avoiding duplicate payments in the portal

Have you experienced duplicate payment issues upon paying for a registration? The refund process can be time consuming and requires a number of details from you.

When using the registration system, you can prevent double payments by waiting a few minutes for the payment to complete processing. Please do not refresh or navigate away from the page. If you are unsure whether your payment was successful, please wait a day to see if the payment has gone through.  If not, please contact us before trying again.

The Suppliers’ Guide, Section 6.9 ‘Payment Screen’ explains step by step how to pay for your registration including screenshots, but in short;

  1. after the ‘Declaration and Notes’ tab you will be prompted to select a payment option (if you are registering with the Australian Regulator)
  2. select ‘proceed to payment’ (see image below)
  3. complete your credit card details and select ‘pay now’— only press the button once
  4. you will be redirected to the payment confirmation page
  5. once a successful payment has been made, the status will change from ‘unpaid’ to ‘paid’.
