The Equipment Energy Efficiency Program (E3) is committed to providing advice and support for retailers in promoting appliances with an energy rating label and assisting consumers to consider the benefits of purchasing appliances that have a higher energy efficiency rating.

Currently, there are Retailer Training Programs being run by the following States:

• NSW – Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water – www.savepower.nsw.gov.au
• VIC – Sustainability Victoria – www.resourcesmart.vic.gov.au
• QLD – Climate Smart Retail program – www.climatesmart.qld.gov.au
• WA – Reach for the Stars program – www.energy.wa.gov.au

The feasibility of a more comprehensive National Retailer Training Program is being scoped by Sustainability Victoria and will be considered by the E3 Committee in coming months.
