Have your say

We want the E3 Program to be as effective as it can be. So we regularly review existing regulations and consider new product areas. An important part of this work involves talking with stakeholders and members of the community about what we're proposing to do.

Sometimes we run public forums on a particular issue or we invite people to make formal submissions. We might even seek views through our online consultation platform Industry Consultation Hub.

We value what you have to say. So get involved!

Proposed Lighting Regulations

In 2022 we are consulting on lighting regulatory options, including draft determinations on LED and incandescent lamps being released as part of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012 (GEMS Act).

You can now provide feedback on key questions relating to the proposed determinations and share your ideas on improving lighting energy efficiency in Australia. Your feedback will help us to finalise the regulatory approaches taken to improve lighting energy efficiency. We want to let you know about the proposed changes to lighting requirements and hear how these changes may affect you.
