From 1 October 2022, most swimming pool and spa pool pumps will need to meet minimum energy efficiency performance requirements and display an Energy Rating Label when being supplied.
These requirements are established under the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Act 2012 and the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Swimming Pool Pump-units) Determination 2021.
