Michelle Croker appointed in the role
Michelle Croker has been appointed as the new GEMS Regulator, based in the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.
Michelle comes to the position with 17 years’ experience in the Commonwealth public sector, which includes five years with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
For much of her career, she has worked on Commonwealth-State relations, most recently on wholesale gas market issues including COAG’s Energy Council’s gas market reform agenda.
Michelle has tertiary qualifications in economics and management, and in a past life advised the then Prime Minister John Howard on sport!
She is keen to get into her new role and looks forward to working with E3 Committee members to progress the appliance energy efficiency agenda in Australia.
