On 28 March 2025 the government assumed a Caretaker role. Information on websites maintained by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water will be published in accordance with the Guidance on Caretaker Conventions until after the conclusion of the caretaker period.

Consultation on the Possible Content of the Revised Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) (External Power Supplies) Determination

In this consultation, the Department of Industry proposes to revise the current Determination to permit the voluntary use of Mark VI on EPS products to be supplied in Australia, provided the product meets the performance requirements for Mark VI specified in the International Efficiency Marking Protocol (IEMP).
