This report analyses the the policy options for improving the efficiency of non-ducted gas space heating and decorative (fuel effect) gas appliances. The purpose of this analysis is to investigate these product types for suitability in an expanded energy efficiency labelling and/or Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) regime under the joint Australia-New Zealand Equipment Energy Efficiency programme.
