Energy Rating Registration Database

Search for energy-efficient appliances and equipment registered for sale in Australia and New Zealand under the Equipment Energy Efficiency program.

Overview

The Energy Rating Registration Database (database) lists product models registered under for supply in Australia and New Zealand and product models that are exempt from registration, where the exemption has been registered.

The database does not include product models:

that have been approved but are not yet available for sale
whose registration has been cancelled through our Compliance Monitoring Program, as these can no longer be offered for sale or supply.

Using the database

Anyone, including regulated entities, can use the database to find information about registered appliance and equipment models and to estimate potential energy and cost savings.

For a meaningful comparison, choose models of a similar size or capacity with similar features.

Navigating the database to search for a product
Anyone can use the database to find information on registered appliance and equipment models all you need to do is:
- use 'All tabs' in the top left of the table to search for a product or use the top sliding bar to navigate to a prouct you are interested in
- click in the product table to access filters and more
- use the product table 'Search' field to find a model, registration number or another product details
- navigate the table's ellipsis menu to filter, sort, group, export data and more.
Alternativley, use the pointed arrows icon to expand the table in the same tab and collapse it to view one product at a time.
